The GWEA awards take place in three key stages:
1️⃣ Nominations (Month of April): Anyone can nominate a business (including self-nominations).
2️⃣ Public Voting (Month of May): Nominees must complete their application to be listed for public voting. Only the Top 10 businesses in each category move to the next stage.
3️⃣ Judging Round (Month of June): Finalists are reviewed by an expert panel to determine the winners.

Can I nominate myself or my business?
Absolutely! Self-nominations are encouraged. This is your chance to highlight your achievements and showcase your work.
How do I nominate someone?
It’s simple! Just head to https://weddingacademyglobal.com/awards/ and complete the nomination form before 30 April 2025.
What happens after I’m nominated?
✅ You’ll receive an email confirmation with next steps.
✅ You must accept your nomination and complete your application to move forward.
✅ Your business will be listed for public voting in May – this is your chance to rally your fans, clients, and community to vote for you!
What is the deadline to complete my application?
All applications must be completed by 30 April 2025 to be eligible for public voting.
How does public voting work?
The public voting period runs from 1-31 May 2025. Businesses will have a unique voting link to share with their audience. Only the Top 10 businesses in each category will progress to the judging round.
How do judges select the winners?
A panel of industry experts will review the Top 10 finalists based on criteria including:

✔ Quality of service & reputation
✔ Industry impact

Can I enter multiple categories?
Yes! You can enter as many categories as you qualify for. Each submission must be tailored to the category criteria.
Is there a cost to enter?
Nominations and voting are completely free. However there is a one-off Entrant fee of $99 USD per applicant.
